Buhari stated that the Moroccan team has shown the possibility of an African team winning the World Cup and wished them well at the ongoing game in Qatar.

Buhari commended the team for their skill and teamwork, saying at the same time that this could not have been achieved without the exemplary role of the Moroccan authorities in putting together a formidable team.

Recall that Morocco, which will face France on Wednesday, defeated Christiano Ronaldo’s Portugal to get to the semi-finals.
