JUST IN: Appeal Court Restores Edeoga As Enugu LP Gov Flagbearer

Chijioke Edeoga has been pronounced as the authentic gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party in Enugu State.

The declaration was made by the Court of Appeal in Abuja on Friday.

Earlier, Justice Evelyn Maha of the Federal High Court, Abuja had sacked Edeoga after one Everest Nnaji approached the court that he was excluded from the primary election.

However, in its judgement, the Appeal Court set aside the earlier judgment and affirmed Edeoga as the true candidate of the party.
