BREAKING: Thugs Set House Of Kano Singer, Rara On Fire
A few hours after the governorship candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Abba Kabir Yusuf was declared winner in Kano State, unidentified thugs have set the residence of a Kano singer, Dauda Kahutu Rara on fire.
Yusuf was declared the winner of the governorship election in the state by the returning officer in Kano, Ahmad Dokko Ibrahim.
The governorship candidate of the NNPP pulled 1,019,602 votes while the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), had 890,705 votes.

Rara was involved in the APC rallies before the governorship election in the state.
An eyewitness who happens to be a resident of the area, Yusuf Abdullahi said the thugs invaded the house and started destroying valuables before setting the house on fire.
The police, however, were able to disperse the thugs, but the fire was still on while firefighters were yet to arrive at the scene.
Abdullahi said, “All you can hear is sounds of explosions from the house as the fire continues to damage belongings.”
