Ondo Girl Kidnapped, Abductors Demand N10m
A 19-year-old girl, Adetutu Okibaloye, has been kidnapped by yet-to-be-identified gunmen in Imoru community in Ose Local Government Area of the state.
It was gathered that the gunmen, who abducted the victim at her residence are demanding N10 million for her release.
According to a source in the community, the unknown gunmen had attempted to kidnap their victim’s aunt too in their home but the aunt luckily escaped with gunshot wound.
The source said, “The aunt was shot as they were struggling to abduct the victim and her aunt.

“The aunt has been taken to a hospital where she is currently receiving treatment, men of the Amotekun corps are already on the trail of the kidnappers.”
The source also revealed that the bandits have called the family of the victim, demanding N10m ransom.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, said the matter was not reported to the police formally.
“The issue at Imoru was not reported officially at the station but the DPO confirmed that the monarch of the town called him while at the collation centre that three people were abducted by unknown gunmen, while two escaped, the third person was whisked away,” she said.
