Federal High Court Mourns As Justice Mallong Dies
A Federal High Court judge, Hon Justice Peter Hoommuk Mallong, is dead.
His sudden death which occurred on Sunday evening threw the Federal High Court headquarters in Abuja into a mourning mood.
Mallong’s death was confirmed on Monday by the Chief Registrar of the Court, Hassan Amida Sulaima.

The statement he personally signed read in part, “It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the death of our own, Hon. Justice Peter Hoommuk Mallong, a Judge of the Federal High Court.
“Justice Mallong passed away on 30th July, 2023, unexpectedly after a brief illness in Abuja. We will miss him more than words can express.
“Funeral arrangements will be communicated to the public in due time.”
