DSS Operatives Arrive Lagos Assembly Complex

Operatives of the Department of State Services on Wednesday have stormed the Lagos State Assembly complex, the venue of the ongoing protest by members of the Nigeria Labour Congress and other unions.

It was gathered that the protesters converged at the entrance of the gate where the operatives are manning.

Earlier, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat, who addressed members of the organised labour, called for calm.

While receiving a letter addressed to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Hamzat assured them that the government will meet and act on their demands.
