CSU: How Gani Fawehinmi Inspired Me – Atiku
Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, on Thursday stated that he was inspired to probe the certificate of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by the late Human Rights activist, Gani Fawehinmi.
The former vice president, while speaking at a press conference in Abuja said Nigeria’s reputation is at stake with the controversy surrounding the Chicago State University’s certificate submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission by Tinubu.
Atiku, who had filed a suit against President Tinubu over his academic record at the Chicago State University, argued that it should not have taken weeks or months for security agencies to verify certificates of candidates who present themselves for higher office.
“The reputation of Nigeria is at stake. I am a democrat by conviction and citizen of a country that I love.
