Senate Chief Whip, Ndume Stages Walkout

The Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Ali Ndume, has staged a walkout during a plenary session.

Stating his reason for the walkout, Ndume complained that the lawmakers carry out some activities that are against the rules of the Senate.

His observation was ruled out by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, causing Ndume to storm out and head to his office.

The Chief Whip shortly after, received a call from a colleague to return to the chamber for an executive session.
