The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State, Senator Dino Melaye, has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of trying to compromise the outcome of the ongoing governorship election in the state.
In a video he shared on his X account, the PDP flagbearer alleged that the exercise is being compromised in Ogori/Mangogo local government area of Kogi state.
The governorship hopeful accused officials of INEC of refusing to show untampered results to his agents.
He tweeted, “Vote not going on in Ogori/ Mangogo because INEC staff refuse to show our agents clean result sheets. If they refuse to show you untampered result sheets, resist and protest.
“APC is trying to compromise the poll in Ogori/Mangogo Local Government of Kogi State. Kogites resist evil.”
