FCT Police Begin Clampdown On Vehicles With Unauthorised Number Plates
Spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has revealed that the Police is set to commence clampdown on traffic offenders and fight all vehicle-related crimes to a standstill.
In a tweet on Wednesday night, Adejobi said the Force will frustrate all illegalities and noncompliance with traffic rules and regulations.
He advised vehicle owners to renew and update their papers ahead of the Operation.

“The Nigeria Police Force will soon operationalise the e-CMR and Operation velvet. This is to inform Nigerians who are vehicle owners to go and renew or update their papers. We will frustrate all illegalities and noncompliance with traffic rules/regulations in Nigeria and fight all vehicle-related crimes to a standstill in this country,” he wrote.
