Sanwo-Olu Appoints Four Permanent Secretaries

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved the appointment of four Permanent Secretaries in the Lagos State Public Service.

The Lagos State Government made this known in a statement on its X handle on Thursday, February 1.

Part of the statement reads: “Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of four Permanent Secretaries in the Lagos State Public Service.

“The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are: Engr. Lateef Ayodele Somide, General Manager, Lagos State Public Works Corporation; Engr. Mahmood Olakunle Adegbite, Director Civil, Office of Drainage Services; Mr. Fatai Audu Emmanuel, Director, Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture and Mrs. Lyla Morenike Oki, Director, Administration and Human Resource, Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.

“A statement signed by the Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, said the appointments were based on merit and impressive track records as the appointees were selected from pool of successful candidates at the Screening Exercise for appointment into the position of Permanent Secretaries/Tutors General in the Lagos State Public Service.

“Agoro expressed confidence in the capabilities and competencies of the appointees, stressing that their recognition was based on diligence, commitment, intellectual capacity and dedication to effective service delivery.

“Accordingly, the deployment of the appointees are as follows: Engr. Lateef Ayodele Somide – Permanent Secretary, Office of Infrastructure; Engr. Mahmood Olakunle Adegbite – Permanent Secretary, Office of Drainage Services; Mr. Fatai Audu Emmanuel – Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Mrs. Lyla Morenike Oki – Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC).”
