The Agony Of Life That Almost Propelled Me Into Internet Fraud

By Temitope Majaro
Temitope Majaro, the immediate past Student Union President of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), shares circumstances that almost pushed him into Internet fraud, known as “Yahoo Yahoo”.
“Mum I’m leaving home because I’m sick and tired of this suffering. Let me go and learn yahoo”…
If my memory serves me right, that was my statement in 2016 precisely. Things were so difficult, it looked like all odds were against us. I had to pack my loads that day and told my mum I wanted to go learn internet fraud.
My mum begged as much as she could but she was left with no other choice as I was adamant. I left home that day in search of supposed greener pastures.
Little did I know, that life on its own was a process and like we all know, if there is no process there will be no progress. One of my previous posts with the topic “Why I’m I suffering?” tells more of this narrative.
Why I’m I saying all of these. Due to my observant nature, I have observed that many youth within the age bracket 18-29, are in or were at one point in life in this very thought line or perhaps you are presently at the verge of giving up.
But I’m here to tell you, that is how providence created us, there will come a point in your life when you won’t even understand your life.
Because there are somethings you will never learn unless you go through certain stages of life. Unknown to you, those stages of life will train you and make you strong.

Let’s take for instance, a woman who was barren for 20 years before she eventually gives birth will teach patience and endurance than anyone else because life has taught her in short if she is given a mic to speak on patience, she could do that three days non stop without looking for back up, references.
Perhaps, someone whom his or her father died while still a baby or teenager and grew to become someone great in life will teach you how to trust God over man than anyone else.
Hmmm, you can as well ask me about those friends, because I lost my dad in 2013, those that promised to stand like a father they all left as man would. I beg of you never to put your trust in man because man will fail but God never fails. And that is one of those factors I considered then, that led to the statements aforementioned that birthed this write up.
In order for avoid a very lengthy post so as not to bore us with words. Let me just wrap this up with this powerful statements in the good book:
Isaiah 40:30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall.
Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
The SUMMARY of my story for everyone remains:
Everyone with great vision for its accomplishment should know that:
— No process No progress;
— There are certain things you would never know unless you pass through certain stages in your life;
— Even the youth shall faint but those that wait upon God He shall renew their strength, So WAIT.
Next time, I would share with us why I left the place and how I met Jesus Christ because that was where the transformation begun. I’m sure you wouldn’t want to miss that.
Thanks for reading.
