Mayorkun, whose real name is Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer. Born on March 23, 1994, in Osun State, Nigeria.

Mayorkun gained prominence in the Nigerian music scene after releasing his debut single “Eleko” in 2016 under Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) record label. The song quickly became a hit and propelled him to stardom.

Mayorkun’s musical style is a fusion of Afrobeat, highlife, and contemporary Nigerian pop, characterized by catchy melodies and infectious rhythms.

He has continued to churn out hit songs such as “Mama,” “Che Che,” “Bobo,” “True” featuring Kizz Daniel, and “Geng,” among others, which have garnered millions of views and streams on various platforms.

Aside from his solo projects, Mayorkun has collaborated with several top artistes in the Nigerian music industry, including Davido, D’banj, Sarkodie, Mr Eazi, and Tiwa Savage, among others.
