N5b Sales Targeted As Lagos Partner Naija Chick For NBC Trade Fair

The Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, has disclosed his partnership with the Naija Brand Chick for the 2024 Lagos Tourism NBC Trade Fair, an event geared toward bringing buyers and sellers to a close contact to buy, sell and network.

The trade fair also aimed at achieving billion sales, a commitment that will drive economic growth and prosperity.

“Our ambitious goal of N5 billion in sales transactions speaks volumes about our commitment to driving economic growth and prosperity” Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s Special Adviser on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mr Idris Aregbe, disclosed this to newsmen on Thursday at a press conference, held at Bagauda Kaltho Press Centre, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.

According to Aregbe, the trade fair will “showcase convergence of different sectors like lifestyle and fashion, personal care, arts and crafts, among others, marking the beginning of a new era in hospitality and trade fair.”

He added, “Under the visionary leadership of Mr Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu, and with the steadfast support of the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, we aim for nothing short of excellence.”

The sixth edition of the NBC trade fair is scheduled for 14th to 16th, June, 2024.

The founder of the NBC Trade Fair, Mrs Nelly Agbogu, who applauded the state government and the ministry for partnering with her brand assured all interested Lagos residents that adequate security of their lives and property during the event will be guaranteed.

Speaking earlier, Nollywood Actress Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi, on her part also commended the state government and the trade fair oganisers for their consistent support for small and medium scale enterprises, urging all entrepreneurs not to take the trade fair for granted.
