Sanwo-Olu Celebrates First Lady Oluremi Tinubu On Her 6th Birthday

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as she turns 64.

In a statement issued on Friday, Sanwo-Olu praised Tinubu for her compassion, strength, and unwavering support for her husband, President Bola Tinubu.

The governor highlighted her significant contributions to the lives of many Nigerians, particularly women, throughout her time as First Lady of Lagos State and her three-term tenure as a senator. He commended her continued dedication to public service since her husband took office as President in May 2023.

Sanwo-Olu lauded Tinubu’s efforts in championing the needs of women and children through various empowerment initiatives, especially her work with the Renewed Hope Initiative, which has provided support to families nationwide. He described her as a “great ambassador of Lagos State” and recognised her advocacy for social justice and philanthropy.

“Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s selfless service to Lagos and Nigeria is remarkable. We celebrate her today for her kindness, social advocacy, and philanthropic efforts.”

The governor, on behalf of the Lagos State government and his wife, Ibijoke, expressed prayers for Tinubu’s continued strength, health, and success in her service to the nation. He also acknowledged her lasting impact as a voice for the voiceless, especially during her tenure in the Senate.

“Her passion for uplifting the needy, particularly women and children, has made a lasting impact on countless lives. “We are proud of her achievements and look forward to more of her contributions to the growth and development of our country.”

As she marks her 64th year, Sanwo-Olu wishes Tinubu divine guidance and the ability to continue her service to humanity and Nigeria.
