Bobrisky: Falz’s Sister Threatens Legal Action Over Allegations

Folakemi Falana, daughter of prominent human rights lawyer Femi Falana, has responded to allegations of bribery and corruption involving her family and Nigerian socialite Bobrisky.

In a statement posted on her Instagram on Friday, Folakemi insisted that her father has never met or communicated with Bobrisky. She revealed that Bobrisky had reached out to her brother, Falz, seeking financial help to secure a VIP stay in prison, but did not mention anything about a presidential pardon.

Folakemi provided evidence that her family’s law firm, Falana & Falana, has been applying for presidential pardons pro bono since 2016, asserting that anyone in Nigeria can request such a pardon for a convicted individual.

She expressed her dismay at how quickly some Nigerians accept unfounded accusations, including claims about Falz’s sexuality and alleged romantic involvement with Bobrisky.

In her post, she stated, “My parents and our firm have been applying for presidential pardons for Nigerians for free long before many of you were born. It’s unfortunate that some Nigerians act like they can’t read or think for themselves. It’s absurd that a ridiculous character like VDM can accuse my dad and Falz of bribery, corruption, and perverting the course of justice, and suddenly everyone forgets who they are and what they stand for. The audacity to accuse Falz of being homosexual and having an affair with Bobrisky is wild, and the fact that some of you believe it blows my mind.”

Folakemi clarified the facts, saying: “1) My dad has never met or talked to Bobrisky directly or through a proxy. 2) Bobrisky reached out to Falz, like he did with other celebrities, asking for money to stay in the VIP section of prison. He never mentioned a presidential pardon. 3) Do you think my dad or Falz need Bobrisky’s money? For what?”

Condemning the allegations as unfounded, Folakemi warned that legal action would be pursued against VeryDarkMan (VDM), stating, “Since you have refused to do the needful, #verydarkblackman, see you in court.”
