First Lady, Top Officials Pay Condolence Visit To Family Of Late Chief Of Army Staff
Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, visited the family of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, to express condolences following his recent passing at age 56.
Accompanied by key dignitaries, including the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, and the wife of the National Security Adviser, Hajia Bilikisu Ribadu, the First Lady was welcomed by Mrs. Oghogho Musa, wife of the Chief of Defence Staff. They then met with the late general’s widow, Mrs. Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, and their children.

During the visit, Senator Tinubu shared words of comfort, emphasizing the role of faith and encouraging the family to draw strength from the general’s legacy of service. “Only God determines the length of a man’s life,” she said, urging the children to remain focused and uphold their father’s ideals.
