Bakare Inaugurates Legacy Project, Annual Endowment Fund For UNILAG’s Faculty Of Law Best Graduating Student
As part of activities lined up for the celebration of the 70th birthday of Pastor Tunde Bakare, the senior cleric of the Citadel Global Community Church, CGCC, the cleric inaugurated the Legacy Project of an Independent Solar Power Plant, and an annual Endowment Fund for the best graduating student at the Faculty of Law, University of Lagos, UNILAG.
The Legacy Project, initiated by Pastor Tunde Bakare creates an avenue of giving back to his alma mater. This include a solar energy system for the great Faculty of Law and an annual Fund that will be awarded to the Best Law Graduating Student henceforth.
AN24 reports that a host of distinguished dignitaries, political leaders, and well-wishers gathered on Monday to celebrate the 70th birthday of the cleric at a special thanksgiving service held in his church in Lagos.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who attended the service, expressed his joy as he joined others to commemorate the milestone.

Sanwo-Olu revealed that Bakare’s autobiography, titled “The Last, But Definitely Not the Least”, was officially launched at the event.
Notable political figures, such as Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, and Lagos State Deputy Governor Dr Obafemi Hamzat, and several others were also present.
AN24 reports that while celebrating Bakare, President Bola Tinubu praised his service to the nation, describing him as “one of Nigeria’s most influential voices.”
